The service of forming dental crowns starts in our office, where your dentist will make impressions and take measurements of your teeth using dental molds or other impression technology. Those measurements are sent to a dental lab where a technician will use the molds from your dentist to form another impression, which will be filled with durable, long-lasting chemicals that are heated to high temps to be moldable. Once the substances have been set and cured within the second mold, the mold is broken apart and the crown is removed, ready to be sent to our office, where the process initiated.
